good ppc terms

i dont know anything about ppc and dont know where to start. i downloaded the free guide from the distiled website but cannot afford there services at the moment, they want 900 pounds to setup the campaign and i need to spend 500 pounds a month on ppc (they add 10% fee to manage it)

can anyone give me some good pointers, main problem is that i will have to do this is both english and french. thx !

1. Avoid Short Tail Phrases like [CITY] real estate
2. [CITY] real estate for sale, [CITY] homes for sale, etc are much lower volume, but have far less competition.
3. [CITY] MLS & [CITY] Foreclosures, & [CITY] townhomes/condos are also great.
4. "Perimiter Cities" tend to convert at a way higher rate compared to the primary city in your metro area.
5. While getting your feet wet, bid only on exact match terms (And Avoid the Content network). Once you get comfortable with the process, you can branch into broad match, phrase match & content network.

so what you are saying is, i am better off having terms like downtown montreal condo for sale, then having, condos for sale montreal and doing that for every part of town?
