gmail style labelling system

The status is an ok field but limited to those 4 options (pending, accepted, rejected, closed) - I have been testing out gmail and allowing you to create your own customized labels is a cool idea. We "kind of" already have this functionality in terms of groups (maybe groups is misnamed?) - I know that most of my sales folk don't use them well.

Perhaps if groups were clickable (and sortable) categories down the sidebar like labels are in gmail they might be a bit more useful? Just a thought.

What would be really cool, is a tool that would allow us to query our lead databases against certain parameters.

For example, I scanned the hot sheet this morning and saw a new listing for a condo in Destin, priced at $499,000, that had 3 bedrooms.

It would be awesome if I could query my lead database against those paramaters to see all buyers that fit that precise criteria.

The ability to call those specific leads with the "deal" of a lifetime would increase conversion more than anything I can think of.
