Google Pagerank and backlink update

Congradulations to all webring members It looks like pretty much everyone went up in either backlinks and/or PR this update. We have some new members at the PR 7 lever which is AWESOME! Congradulations guys.

The IP to check your new backlinks is http://64.233.161.98 and if you want to actually check PR

update your hosts file type: c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts into your browser open the file with notepad. Then at the bottom of the page type in: 64.233.161.98 toolbarqueries.google.com (Under where it says localhost)
Then save, to save change from (As a .txt) to (All files) then click on the hosts file above with no extension and hit save.

When your done gocking at my PR 8 and our forums PR 7 and want to put it back just follow the same instructions but delete the 64.233.161.98 toolbarqueries.google.com and resave the same way

I understand that you have formed a relo referral group. I just personally believe that it will be viewed differently by Google, ultimately. In either case, enjoy it while it lasts. It appears to be very successful!

Welcome to the forum Puneetbsl; perhaps starting in the Introductions section of the forum might be a good idea.

This thread you have bumped was actually started in 2004, so its rather old!!! In the simplest of terms PR is created through the building of backlinks (both in terms of quality and quantity).

Well the PR update from April 04 has happened, the August/September 07 one however is still pending. We should see something happen very, very shortly!
