On another forum it was mentioned that people were moving down in Yahoo. I checked one of my sites & I went from #1 position that I've held for a long time down to 9. However, my newer site was right under me at 10 which was nowhere to be found before.
Only one actual agent site is above me at #7 (I've never seen it before). The rest are Yellow Pages, Homegain, City Search, etc., & a Zip Realty page. Bad results so I hope it doesn't stay this way.

Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

I am still not showing up in the yahoo SERPs (how old is your new site?). One thing that I have noticed over the past couple of days is a significant yo-yo effect with the number of backlinks - I was close to 900 last week, was at 400 yesterday, and around 650 today. Definitely some changes going on...

I got my domain in March of this year. It still isn't showing up very well for my main kw's (#25) but I just noticed it for the first time on the first page for a kw I really haven't optimized for.

Judy, how long did it take for your new site to show up in the yahoo SERPs? Did you submit to the yahoo directory (free or paid?), and if so, how quickly?

a site can show up in the yahoo serps quite quickly. Just build some backlinks and use the Yahoo Formula that is contained in that thread. There is also a lot of great discussion about it as well located on that thread. I had a site that started ranking in the SERPs in Yahoo(although not well) within a month. I think that was a bit more rare for it to happen that quick though.
