    Default Access does not understand xsd StringXXX format?

    Hi, I need some help with Access DB import.
    I download an xsd file NWMLSStandardXML.xsd from NW MLS. It contains data format like:
    <xs:element name="MAP" type="mstns:String10" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1" />

    After importing into Access, Access created a DB with all the String?? fields converted to String255. Why is that? Why doesn't Access interpret ?? correctly?

    Thanks.

    Because Access is not an Enterprise level database system. It has limited functionality and capabilities.

    If you haven't already done so, join the NWMLS user group on Yahoo. You can post your questions directly to the NWMLS technical staff and the other developers accessing the NWMLS system.

    The group is at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NWMLS-EverNet/
