Can anyone figure out the logic when the home page of RealEstateWebmasters.com is #3 in Denver Real Estate keyword even surpassing their own clients Jake Marsh. Can someone please tell me the logic Yahoo has to award such a thing to a website that does not have the keyword Denver in its home page once. P.S. Congratulations either way I guess?

It has always been so on Google, or at least from my expereience. Links/references to your site from stronger pages often outrank the site itself until it's links are "established".
I know it's a Yahoo post but thought it might be relevant.OverlyReal.com - The best little real estate directory on the planet!

That is actually very strange! Although it can be the case that authoritative domains can outrank sites trying for terms just by mentioning them, REW's homepage makes no mention of the term denver anywhere on the page.... seems very flawed, you would think Jake's portfolio page would be the one ranking. I have no explanation as to why it would be so, as there are no anchor texts with Denver that I know of (But hey I am not aware of all links to us)
Starting LEC 7 soon but it won't be called LEC 7 - LEC 2012 coming soon!

Well in Chicago, Falcon Living profile page is number 63 for Chicago Real Estate but no REW page is anywhere in top 100 for Chicago for Yahoo. Just weird.

I believe Yahoo is struggling in an effort to catch Google and has yet to find the correct recipe err algo.

Well after the temporary victory on Denver Real Estate now REW has the victory as the Number one minneapolis site even passing igotrealestate.com. You know what I say to that @#!##!@##$!@#$!!@$$!@$!@#$

I cant believe these guys, we dont mention ANY geographical areas on our site at all! (Well the homepage at least) what the hell are they thinking?

Yeah, I'm not even in "San Diego Real Estate" for yahoo anymore (used to be around 17 or 12 or so) and now REW is number 30 or 32 or something...lol.

YEAY I AM NUMBER 294 in Chicago REAL ESTATE
After five months of pain and torture we are here at last. Now we know how long that sandbox lasts Morgan. I still hope your website gets to be number one in Chicago Real Estate but I dont see it anywhere
