Facebook Check in to promote business???

I saw something pop up on my blackberry about this check in tool to promote your business on FB. Had to ignore it because BB su*&s for browsing the internet. Now I can't find it. Did anyone else see this today?

Of course social media very important plat foam that provide many links that increase your traffic in your site then you can increase your sale.
But search engine like all stretedgy that improve your ranking like seo and sem is more campaign for search result in your local search engine if you have any other way for best stretedgy that increase your linking.
