Thread: Examples of "Facebook done well" for Real Estate Brokerages?

  1. #1

Default Examples of "Facebook done well" for Real Estate Brokerages?

I've been trying to locate 'standout' facebook business pages for real estate brokerages but candidly keep coming up empty.

I'd be grateful if folks here could share a few links of facebook pages they think have been done well for real estate BROKERAGES. Thanks!

48 views thus far and no examples? What about agent or brokerage pages that are done "pretty well"?

Thanks to this post, I have played with FB Business page and created one that allows users to search homes from my business page and it directs them to my website.

Nice link Jay! I come across many well-maintained Myspace pages, but it seems like Facebook pages are often very boring and/or disorganized. These are good examples of FB pages that are effective, professional-looking, and pleasing to the eye.

Hi All - It's interesting that this thread is 4 years old - still so relevant!

I visited the site Jay wrote about. The pages look great but the $400 price tag seems out of line. I wanted to see his work so I clicked around and found that his site links to his flicker image account and an automatic "like" to be posted on MY FaceBook site - not the site that he made/sold.

I searched out 2 of his samples and found one with 6 followers and one with 99 followers. I really like the look of his pages but if the page owner does not USE the page and promote the page - well... doesn't seem worth the expense.

I guess my thought is don't bother paying someone to make the page - rather pay someone to keep it fresh and promote it. How does a FB page differ from your blog? FB has great built in features that you don't have on a blog - so use 'em.

    Just a thought.....Have a good weekend y'all,

Gretchen you took the words out of my mouth - this post is definately still relevant.

I'm doing some work researching how estate agents in the uk use facebook pages and I'll be sure to post a link to the results here.

There are lots of good examples of bespoke fan pages with great features like 'search property' but as you say many have few followers and no interaction.

You get the feeling the office launched the page to friends and family who 'liked' it to support their friend and thats the end of it.

Do any webmasters here know of 'off the shelf' facebook apps that allow you to add your property search to facebook fan pages? I've seen a few but cant work out who provides them or if they're all built bespoke.

    thanks

@TBPL - I will look forward to seeing what you find!

I too will be looking for ready made real estate aps for fan pages. If I find any, I will post them here.
