Welcome to the club, I designed and launched my site with Gdaddy's website tonight. It was very easy to use but like a previous poster mentioned, after I learned a little more about seo I found that it wasn't the best platform to build a seo friendly site from unless I know how to code well. In addition to that, I found the templates gdaddy has arent nice enough to really make a great impression on someone.

Long story short, Im switching to an REW template which is in progress now. I wish I would of found this forum before I went with Gdaddy but oh well! When I look at the difference it's HUGE, I figure I need a site that both looks good and ranks good.

So you're lucky in the sense that you havent wasted any time with something you eventually wont like, you can start off strong and have a better chance of reaching your goal sooner. Good luck, we're in the same boat

Oh, and about traffic blazer. It's cool because it's cheap and it has some cool tools, but It's not gonna make or break your seo. It makes some things easier, like finding directories to submit to and analyzing your tags, but it doesnt really do anything that other tools cant do.

When I first built my website, I used Godaddy's Website Tonight web editor. It's good if you are building something fairly simple. It was a bit hard to work with because often times things wouldn't appear on your actual website in the same place as in the editor. I've since move to something a little bit better and easier to work with. I wish I was an expert in HTML so I could build a site from scratch.

Ben, I know your post was from 2005, however, if you still need info on Godaddy, I can help, as I design sites in godaddy all the time. However, a template site just for realtors is spammy link to superlative removed. Very professional looking and a really wonderful tool for realtors. Lin
