    Default Link managers

I too am interested in a good links manager. Has anyone here used Zeus? Pro's Cons? Can you use the features in this program for checking your backlinks and emails without using the automated directory? I kind of like my directory now and it is all hand built. I don't mind the labor of adding the links as much as I do the checking the links monthly to be sure they are still linking to me.
Is there a program out there to do that?
    Thanks

I would be concerned that a free one might not do the job. But really all I want is something that will confirm my links are still there. Anyone? Hello?

Hi gang, I was holding my tongue a little on this one, as we have been putting some new touches on our link manager/checker. I will say that it is actually a really great tool to keep track of your reciprocal links and partners. It now has great online reports, Google PR, site: and link: functions and weekly/monthly email reports, and a bulk import feature. Check it out please and let me know what you think. I would like to hear some feedback even from our esteemed Webmaster.

    Thanks,

It tells me that I have over 300 links on one site that our spider says are not recognised by G, and do not show in G for "www.thissite.com"

Try on another of our sites e.g

    http: // http://www.daley-realestate.com/r_re...tate-homes.asp

    Jason,

I am using your link checking tool and so far it is working great - thanks.

One suggestion that will help speed up entry of my links is to add a "link check" at the top of the "unfiled reports page" so i don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to add my next link. I enter them this way because i want to check them first before adding them to the schedule.

It would be nice to sort by PR from the "unfiled reports page".

It would be nice to sort by URL from the "unfiled reports page" to find a URL. (edit, you already do this)

When i try to display more than 100 links per page i get a message that reads "You do not have enough privileges to delete that schedule". (this only happened once)

I am a bit confused what the term "Unfiled" means.

You might make the URL of the link selectable and open in a new window on the "unfiled reports page".

It might be nice to return the number of recordsets so you know how many links you have.

    Thanks

Drumat, we have noted the suggestions...and thanks!

I am a bit confused what the term "Unfiled" means.
The "Unfiled" group is basically all unfiled links. We have set it up now so that you can set up groups (by domain, etc) so that you can segment your links and manage them a little better. I am going to assume at this point that all of your links are unfiled. If you go into the "Reports" section, you will notice two things, a link at the top of the section to Add/Edit a Group and a drop down box at the far right of each link report. I would recommend you add a group for each domain, then use the drop down boxes at the right of each link to place them in the appropriate group.

One suggestion that will help speed up entry of my links is to add a "link check" at the top of the "unfiled reports page" so i don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to add my next link. I enter them this way because i want to check them first before adding them to the schedule.
Yes, there will be a menu at the top of those pages shortly. I agree.

You might make the URL of the link selectable and open in a new window on the "unfiled reports page".
Try clicking the magnifying glass for this. It will run that report and give you a detailed view/report of the link in question.

It might be nice to return the number of recordsets so you know how many links you have.
There are a few more reporting features we were hoping to add in the next week. We will try to include this in there!

    Thanks again.

We don't verify that the link you input is in the google index, but that is something we will most likely put in the next update along with the file size of the linking page (may make it into this week's stuff). Is that what you were saying?
