Lead generation companies?

Hello to all,
I Have been recieving calls, and emails from every lead generation companies.
Which I have heard nothing but bad feedback on. What is you thought on the idea? Do you have a recommendation for one? I would like to find out more information before i jump into anything. Thanks for any input.

Just do a search for Homegain or House Values here and you'll get a lot of information, mostly negative. I wasted $700.00+ on Homegain & never got a decent lead from them.

I've also tried Service Master and Realty Now. That was when you could see the leads first before paying for them (no monthly fee). The first lead I actually asked for turned out to be completely bogus. At least I got my money back but I never tried again.

We've said it many times, take that money & put it into your web site and develop your own leads.

I second Judyo's reply. Use your $'s on your website and other forms of advertising to your farm areas. You'll see a much better return on your investment.

Thanks for the reply. That is what i thought about it. It's just that i have been getting so many calls that it got my interest up enough to research it.

Hey i forgot something. I have posted a thread in the rewiew section, but nobody has replied. I am looking for some ideas to improve my site, or thought of things that i could do different.

Money spent on SEO and a well designed site should be enough to generate leads.
