Out of the sandbox

I am guessing Yahoo has a sand box now. I created by Bradenton Real Estate site around July. I just noticed today that my blog is ranking #8 and my site is ranking #10 for the search phrase Bradenton Real Estate. So the sand box lasted about 6 months for me.

Let's see if it sticks or just one of those flukes that go away quickly.

There is certainly something going on at Yahoo and from what we've seen this year not just for new sites and not all good.

Yeah first my site came out of it and today it had a big jump from #290 to #121 in Chicago Real Estate and my side Condos page definitely got out of the sandbox placing itself in first or second pages.

Yahoo has been a funny SE lately. We have some new sites that are on the first page while a few other older ones have been bumped around the last month or so.

Very strange the blog pages seem to be outranking the normal pages "Bradenton MLS" is #18 for the normal page, but #2 for the blog page (Both reside on the same root domain.) Mind you I think the bradenton MLS page could use some onpage SEO for "bradenton MLS"

My site went live at the end of July, and I just noticed today that I'm number 7 for my keyword terms
Boulder Colorado Real Estate; wow, long time coming, but it's nice to see that the hard work paid off. Like you say, hopefuly it will stick

so just how long does the yahoo sandbox take (or at least for your site Marc)?

My site was doing well in both Yahoo and MSN in a very short time.

I didn't keep close track of the timing, but it seems it was just a few months.

My P2 site has all but disappeared - except for keywords we weren't even trying for

point2 sites have a real problem in yahoo or at least that is what point2 members have been reporting.
