Default New tool/blog for real estate webmasters

Ok as many of you know I can't stand those that cheat the system, find link exchanges to be a pain do to the cheaters, and think that one way links are key to a sites success. With these items in mind I have decided to create a new real estate blog focused on helping agents with their websites.

Some of the items that will be covered:

    - real estate directory category that will list real estate specific directories that have clean spiderable links and how to add your site to them.

    - A Web Directory category that will list web directories that have a real estate or property area that have clean links for those listed.

    - Sites that offer link exchanges that are worth exchanging with, this will include sites with good content, cached pages, pages that have PR, and aren't known to play games (if they play games they go into a cheaters category so you know to stay away from them).

    - The cheaters section...those that "post and remove", you know the type...they post your link and once you post theirs in return they remove your lin and you have wasted all of that time.

    - More cheaters...those that use scripts, any site that is using a script to hide their links pages or the links themselves can be added to this section.

The site is brand new and will need help from everyone here. Feel free to PM me with sites that cheat, directories I should add, and sites that offer good link exchanges. There are so many good sites out there that deserve a little extra promotion and so many cheats that deserve to be called out that I felt it was time for this blog. Really hope that everyone takes the time to help make this a great resource, besides who doesn't want the chance to tell everyone how their competition is cheating the system .

If a site owner wants to go down that road I have no problem with it. Also any site that is listed in the cheat section will not get there because one agent said they should be (that would be way to easy to manipulate). I would also like screen shots, copy of the link request, ext if the agent has it. Either way we will put them to the test, request a link exchange and see what happens from 3-4 sites. This section will be the hardest to get listed in, but will be one of the more important ones IMO.

looks good... I hate cheatrs too... I mean realtors have enough to do without spending 2 hours a night learning seo... which I have found myself doing... I was going to add my site to your site, but I could not find a place... but good job !

Jason I went to your site and it isn't opening for me, getting the
    "The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings."
error message. You might want to look at that.

Once it's up if you have a quality site that you offer link exchanges from PM me with the details and I will review it. There isn't a submit form as this will be a by referral only type of a site, you have to be referred or be on one of the forums that I post asking memebers for help to get listed. Would like it if people submit more than just their own site, give me a few quality link partners that you have found also.

Also would be a huge help if anyone would be willing to link to the site to get it started.

Hey man, when I offer an opinion I don't expect people to take it; after all, it's your pocketbook.

It's just that I've been a citizen of this increasing litigious society for over half a century. As a result, I've been involved in my share of "slip and fall" cases.

No one wins but the lawyers.

Ken, I'll pm you & I'll give you a link, too.
Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

How true. I will be very carefull how I approach this and will make sure that I only post an offending site after I have plenty of proof of what they are doing. Besides I will just argue freedom of speach as this is a real estate news site .

LOL...as this was the first place I posted links to the blog I thought that was a given that everyone already knew about the REW Directory. You are on the list of sites to add (and had been from the begining), but I need to spend them out so I can keep adding content. Your post is actually already written, just not posted .

Was actually going to add your links page for your clients in the link exchange section, but decided I will wait until you have made the changes that where suggested. Think that it will make the exchange process much easier.
