I set up my pay per click adds so they are very effective. The problem is that to get that number one add spot I run 7 diffrent pay per click adds within my campain section then set all of the up with relivant search terms for landing pages on cities within my area. The CPC setting are on auto with a max of $3 per click and a daily spending limilt of $25 on each add. I ran this for 2 days and moved to number one over night. The problem was that I ran up $225 within 48 hours. I have a great click through rate but this is not cost effective to leave this type of add up all year. So I guess the quistion would be to see if you have any ideas to set up a more cost effective budget that can retain those top spots all year long? Some of the ideas that I had are below.
1. Set up an Immpressions add were you pay for every 100,000 impressions?
2. My favorite= Set up a conversions add that charges for conversions. The problem with this is that my conversion would be a client registering and I am having a hard time plugging in the tracking codes to the 4.0 back end. If I could run this add I would be willing to pay $5 for a conversion to start an experiment.
3. manual cost per click with a start at .10 per click and every day bump that up until your start to show up within the top 3.
Any ideas and feedback would be appriecated. Aslo, please let me know what you think about microsoft and yahoo pay per click.
