    Default Site Review

    Hey Everyone

Just launched my site and was wondering if I could get some feedback on it.

I'm working on the content right now so no need to critique the content. I'm mainly interested in what people think of the graphical display, the color palette, and the navigation.

    And keep it constructive!!! lol

The links are in my signature.

Looks good. Make sure everything on the front page looks good above the fold. Also make sure every community page has content above the listings, and not just listings, but I am sure you will be adding it. Like the color scheme.

Looks good. Is it necessary to have the realtor, equal housing opportunity and mls logos there? Seems like a better place to have your photo or company logo. Have you thought about putting the communities in the side navigation? I would also break up all the text with some local photos of the area. Just a thought....

Thanks for the feedback. Yea, I like having that logo there, it just seems like it goes well with the site. I haven't thought about putting communities in the side navigation, that's a good idea.

Yeah the logo really cheapens the look of the site as it doesn't fit at all. Unless you have to have it there...

lol I thought it looked good, everyone has their opinion I guess. I do have to have a logo there and the logo for my company is a totally different color scheme than my website. I tried putting my picture in there and with the cropping and resizing it just looked funny. You don't think that the logo makes it look more professional?

After all the spammy post about all your seo advice i would have though you where going to build a killer website. That didnt happen... Go read your seo books some more and also get a book on how to design a website that a customer wants to visit...
If anything, what you just wrote is a spammy post, and I said keep it constructive. You just flat out attack on many threads for no reason.

If you are going to sit on such an ivory web design tower, I'd suggest not having very basic websites that can be easily criticized in a very negative manner as well. I won't do that though, since going to that level isn't worth my time and doesn't really interest me.
