    Welcome Ryan,

Ah the islands. Funny thing is I've never been to the Bahama's. Lived on Cayman Brac for awhile and have friends in St Croix. Like the British West Indies a lot ... So I tend to hang a little south of you. But give me any island and some steel drum music, a fruity rum drink and I'm a happy camper!

As for Matt, not sure what's going on with him. Matt honey did you forget to take your meds this morning????

    Susan,

No meds for me, no coffee, etc., just needed a little oxygen. That was a few days ago, Monday I think, ahhh that explains it, it was MONDAY.

I think we've smoked the peace pipe together and moved on now. Sure was out of charactor for me, but rather than delete it, I choose to learn from it. The written word is powerful, everyone knows that, but the flat medium of email, forums etc. where people type in "stream of conciousness", are very hard to express emotion on. Books, etc. can be re-written over and over until the right image is portrayed. But not email, and so on.

Live and learn, I love it! And thankfully I didn't scare away a newbie to this forum or SEO-guy might have had something to say about it.

    Take care all...

    Here comes the Hurricane

Palm Beach County just evacuated all coastal residents... Looking out my windows at the Ocean here in Ft Lauderdale... wishing I was in the desert...
May have some good real estate bargains down here in a couple days...

Ahhhh the desert. We really do not experience any natural disasters. Our biggest issues here are wild fires and they really don't affect the Valley of the Sun, too much concrete here.

That seems to be the trend with hurricanes. Some simply do not want to go through it again and so they sell, cheap. Coastal living will always have its draw, so as long as the land/beach doesn't wash away the real estate values will always rebound. Great for the investor, as long as the land doesn't wash away.

Are you riding it out, or are you leaving the area?
