    Default CMS Systems

    Greetings,

    Found this forum via Google.

I develop and design websites and have been working with a local real estate broker in developing their site.

I've found various "solutions" or "packages" available on the web that already have the back end created.

Here is my question. Is there a CMS solution available already geared for the Real Estate Brokerage market that I can use myself without going through one of these companies?

I guess I'm wanting to know is their tools readily available to me as an independent?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Well, I believe open realty has such a solution, as do we are REW, however for a developer to make user of the REW system it must be hosted on the REW servers, whereas open realty is open source I believe.

Open-realty is an excellent choice. It is perhaps the most widely used real estate web application in the world. It can be used from the simple to the most complex. Realtors can grow into the features but not out grow them.

There are 4 basic components comprising dozens of features.

easily customized template (css/xhtml standards compliant)
CMS - html visual page editor
    listing management
    membership suite
