    Default The Dance has begun...

I do beleive that the dance has begun.

I am getting tons of activity on my site from Google and they finally cached my Real Estate Agent Directory page!

Anyone else see changes they have been waiting for?

Well Google tells me that I now have 7 backlinks instead of 1, which I guess is a an improvement if only a tiny one

I have not seen any BL or PR update here, just seeing a little different gbot activity on some sites.

No updates showing, but isn't that how the dance goes? No really, I'm asking is that how it goes? Lots of activity from bots and then the update hits and it either sucks and they spend weeks fixing it, or we all love it right off!

BTY, anyone else see the cache that I see for my real estate agent directory page? Don't want to post the link again, just use the link in my first post! And... thank you very much for checking for me, anyone.

well, i don't know about anyone else, but if i put a link to a new page on front page - google pick it up the next day and it's in the serps... granted low comp, but still. I have not seem any results test links on inside pages nor any extrodinary gbot activity. I guess, it's heading this way... yippie!!!

matt, the page is in the index. That doesn't mean there is an update in progress though. G adds pages from your site all of the time. Just depends on when gBot gets around to the page.

Had the PR on a couple of pages drop from 3 to 0. Homepage remained a 3 though.

    Hey Chaci and all,

I know that pages being indexed isn't a sign of a dance, I didn't mean to sound naive. I guess I should have articulated my thoughts more clearly (it's something I'm working on because I received terrible grades in college in only that subject, English).

I should have worded it something like this, "I have been seeing a lot of activity and many others are seeing more than usual too so I think it may be a dance beginning to play out". And then I should have added, "I am happy my real estate agent directory page was finally indexed". Two seperate ideas, yet when I re-read my first post just now, it does sound like I'm adding the fact that my page finally got indexed as weight to the conclusion that I am considering about the current surge of Google-bot activity. In considering this conclusion; in order to make it come to it's logical conclusion we'll need a good debate. And I figure this is as good a place to ask for input when I feel something coming. Now I'm just BS-ing you...

I was jus' wonderin' if anyone else thought it might be the begin'n of a 'nother dance or not.

    Hi HMiller,

That's a drag, but has happened to me before as well. Should bounce around again so no need to give it another thought for a week or so. You never know with the big G. If you continue to add content and improve your site you shouldn't bounce around near as much once you are placed well.
