MLS Search for Facebook Page

Who is interested in having an IDX search tab for their Facebook page? We are looking for Facebook savvy agents to participate in a Private Beta. Help us create a tool that will leverage MLS content and social media to improve your business.

My goodness, this would be great, my issue is compliance. I would have to check with my board before moving forward.

Excellent! NAR has recently issued a recommendation regarding how and where MLS participants may display IDX data. The blog post gives great detail. http://www.mlstesseract.com/2011/11/...n-anaheim.html. However, I would argue that framing IDX search in a Facebook page is already covered in IDX contract language. You (the realtor) control the page and can ensure IDX compliance. Displaying IDX data in a Facebook profile news feed or wall is a different matter...my app has no intention of doing that, it just provides IDX search in a frame on a Facebook Page.

Sounds interesting. It would be a nice addition to any page. I wonder if there are any MLS issues to contend with.
