Got this from a client today, made me laugh thought I'd share

I wanted to tell the both of you how grateful I am for the work that you have done. I know I was a bit of a pain in the ass and for that I apologize. Today we reached #9 on the first page of Google for the term Ulster County Real Estate. #1 for MSN, #2 for Yahoo, #6 for lycos, #6 for ask jeeves, #2 for All The Web, #9 for AOL and many more. Needless to say, I am ecstatic.

It is nice to see honest work paying off for customers. When I started researching SEO all the local firms blew smoke up my $ss. "We guarantee first page results using our propietary software, what is your budget", blah blah blah. I'm a infrastructure consultant, not a developer but it drove me nuts that they were just trying to scam me. This is why I started doing this myself.

A: When they sign on for more than just a linking program - I did a few edits on their homepage title etc but that testimonial is from a pure linking client. The reason I thought it funny was that he called himself a pain in the ass, and he really was hehe - Edit, it is several years later, and we are proud to say we are still Lou's SEO consultants and website provider - he is a still a pain in the ass, but we love him all the same

I meant the site owners Morgan. Well they are not reading this so it does not matter. You know, in terms of link diversification getting the most out of those massive amount of links, etc etc etc. so in six months they dont bother you again saying why why why even though you got nothing to do with it.

I'd recommend checking out the website review section. Review a few websites, and then post to have yours reviewed. It's the best way to find out how to better your site!
