How do I check serps for my site?
Have sent you an e-mail Java
The "industry standard" to check Google SERPs is DigitalPoint's keyword tracking tool. You will need to get a free Google API key, but that should take you all of about 1 minute to do.
Most automated software SERP checkers violate most serch engines' Terms of Service. So, using them is not advised. What you really should consider doing is checking you logs to see what terms people are using on what search engines to get to your site.
The only prob with digitpoint is that it checks the database, not the current serps... I often see my sites in there for a KW at say 248 and in digitalpoint, it's not in there at all.... it sometimes takes a week or more to make it into digitpoints site because of the delay by G placing it into the directory.
**this is my experience** not a fact (MSB)
on the other hand, try either Mcdar's Keyword tools or googlerankings or my favorite: SEO-GUY Serps tool they all work wonderfully.
Please note that you can check the serps by using SERPS Checker at the following URL: SERPS Checker
I like to use dccheck.com which checks across a handful of Google`s US data centers.
I also check my rankings manually.
But before I am using IBP.
