Default Yahoo Directory - submission guidelines

    Hello,
The submission form for getting into the Yahoo Directory indicates that if your site has any broken or bad links, it may not be accepted into the directory. With a real estate site having so many outbound links ( reciprocal links, MLS listings, etc. ) it would seem difficult to not have a few bad links.

Any thoughts on how Yahoo editors might look at this?

    Thank you.

Actually google directory says about that too. But it seems to be ok. I think there are some limits of acceptable broken and bad links.
Btw what is considered by yahoo (as well as others) as a BAD link?

I use a link management tool specifically to avoid broken links...one of the features of the product is that it confirms links on a configurable time basis (i.e. once a week), so you could avoid such issues with broken "partner" links. I use duncan carver's link management assistant, it's free.

Can you give a link to it? (btw, doesn't google has such a service?)

I just google searched it and it took me to the web page. Working on trying to figure out how to install it and use it...
