SEO Guy, turned commercial real estate lender

At the advice of DazzlinDonna from SEOChat I have joined up in the hopes of benefiting from a group of individuals who, like myself, must use the web to garner clientele for a real estate business.

I personally work for an e-commerce optimization firm in Seattle, but spend 99% of my time working for one client - Avatar Financial Group (), attempting to boost their rankings for Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.

Oh by the way, if anyone needs a hard money or bridge loan, head on over to the site. They are very honest, turn down 99% of the loans that come to them, but fund the rest within a week. If you meet their stringent criteria, I'd say they're a pretty good company.

he was offering link exchanges and placing peoples links on a page that he blocked in the robots.txt file. That is not acceptable as he gets all the credit for links and does not give anything back.

Not everyone here are SEO's and would have caught this so to protect you guys I have banned him.

If you ever are suspicious of a website please post it here (Not a live link) and we will check it out for you.

Its sad, practice like this, makes good seo co. like Seo-guy looks bad.

Anyway, I went to the site, and I saw the rates 7.5% over Prime and LTV of less than 65%. 4 points in origination cost.

If I wanted to do a link exchange, I would never wanted to be associated with these type of hard money lenders.

What a $hitbag. Not a very good seo person either, if he has to stoop to trickery to boost his rankings. Nice catch Morgan. FYI my pr on interior pages has returned (somewhat) with this update. Unfortunately its not as high as it was before, but our site went up to the top spot for our main keyword, so I'll take the trade off.
