Default What phone/phones do you use?

Just wanted to see what everyone is using out there and any phones you would recommend to stay away from? Let's hear the good and the bad.

Treo 650, haven't really scratched the surface of it's capabilities yet. Receiving email on your phone is great but the program I'm using is quirky sometimes. Just got Tom Tom software and will install that soon. Great for scheduling and had bluetooth capability. Web surfing works well. Overall, I like it. Keyboard buttons look very small at first, but even with my fat fingers I can dial accurately and drive at the same time,

Thanks Henry. That was one of the phones I was considering. The other was the Sprint PPC 6700. http://www.sprint.com/business/products/phones/ppc6700_allPcsPhones.jsp

I've been considering the Treo 650 as well. I've heard people say they love them at first, but not too much later, they're not quite as happy.

Anyone here had the Treo 650 long enough to know they still love it, or have others had problems after using them for a bit?

I am somewhat hard of hearing, but not deaf. The TREO I had through Cingular could not be heard while driving down the road with the volume all the way up. I would have to stop to talk on the phone and still have to ask people to repeat things if I was in only a slightly noisy environment. So, bought a bluetooth earpiece that would connect sometimes and sometimes not.

There were certain towers around town where my girlfriend with excellent hearing could not understand anything said on the TREO. Everyone elses phones worked fine with those towers.

All of the internet goodies were great, synchronized address book, camera, mls access, e-key, etc. But as a phone it was useless.

A week after I got it, two people in our office said they had one and hated it and went back to their old phone.

When I bought it I asked the girl at the store if she knew where to donate old phones to be given to battered women. She said, "you better keep it in case you break your TREO". Three weeks later, it fell out of the cheap belt clip pouch and broke the screen.

I went back to a basic Lucky Goldstar phone with no bells and whistles. I have a laptop for computing, an e-key for opening doors, a camera for taking pictures, and a phone for communicating.

You can have my old one if you don't mind not being able to read an 1/8 of the screen and not being able to hear a thing.

That was a pretty accurate synopsis of what I've heard others say.

Too bad... What a great tool it will be when they get all the kinks worked out.
