Default If you had $3,500 to spend...

    Where would you spend it?

I want to increase business and was thinking of a direct mail marketing campaign, increase marketing to SOI, SOI party aka client appreciation party and possibly a 6 month Trulia subscription for a zip code.

You know how it works...don't mind spending the money but want to spend it the best way.

    1. New content for site for separate landing pages
    2. google adwords campaign to landing pages

I would also think about an expired campaign, a set of 6 or 7 postcards and phone calls.

Build and promote a "Get Pre-approved Now" section on your website and work with your mortgage broker of choice to close these deals. Two heads is better than one.

Thanks for the input. I did decide to go with additional content as it has been the only consistent marketing that has helped my business. I will definitely market more to the people I know to increase my database and then go from there.

That sounds like a great idea.

    Google Adwords and blogging.
James Kimmons has 100% of his income coming from website leads, so it's probably worth listening to what he says.
He has a monthly budget of $150, which is $1800 per year. This fit with your budget.
Content and blogging is important also, since only 10% of realtor have a blog, it gives you some advantage.

One last thing, if your site support IDX, your OK, but if not it might be a good idea to add it, because 90% of people say they want to search MLS listings on the Web.

SEO, I would absolutely like to have someone write for me in order to improve my google rankings.. I have been at number two for Santaluz in San Diego, and just last week I moved to number one.. Very happy!
