Here's my new blog I'm working on:
http://www.oak-lawn-il.com/
I'm trying to set it up to resemble a website more than a blog. I have created "pages" instead of making posts. Don't go too far into the blog as I have a lot of fixing up of the pages I've transferred over from another host and much more to add plus I have to make a few other changes. As I add more pages my menu will get cleaned up, too.
I'm concerned about my site getting spidered & cached. My Cook County blog gets spidered & cached frequently. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether "pages" get cached the same as posts, or at least the same as any other website page.
I learned by doing this that the "pages" do not go into the rss feeds like posts do. I have my welcome page set up as a sticky post with none to appear on the same page. But I can switch the "pages" to posts if that would mean faster caching.
I'd like to figure this out before I spend too much time creating further pages and having to start over again with the posts.
