...well at least thats what this clown is hoping. Got an email from the President of a Remax franchise up in Mass. telling me that he deems my website worthy of an award. In exchange for placing a link (which is one of those stupid website award graphics) from my pr5 homepage, he has so generously placed a link to me from his real estate links page which is not cached, no PR and has over 1300 other outbound links on it. LOL. I sent him a not so friendly email back telling him what he could do with his generous offer. People like him really make link exchanging a pain in the ass.

I usually just delete them, but every twenty or so of these ridiculous requests I feel the need to vent and send a pointed email.

I actually returned an e-mail to this gentleman & although it started out a little rough, we actually e-mailed each other a few times. He told me he has received enough interest from this mass e-mail to have made it worthwhile. He is experienced and was trying something different.

He also hires Morgan in some form and is a forum member. Let's face it, when doing a mass mailing you're going to hit some people that think receiving an award is great & will jump at it. Then you're going to hit us here at REW who thought it was a joke. You're not going to get 'em all. But I give him kudos for trying something different that will hopefully help him down the road, even though I don't think it's a fair trade. But shame on those that don't educate themselves on what is a good deal & what isn't.
