Real estate links not working

I have been wondering, I have loads of backlinks with the keyphrase in it.

It seems that none of those work. And just recently, instead of going up on SERP on G. I'm going the opposite way.

Strange. I think backlinks are no longer working anymore, in fact there are lots of websites without any backlinks and yet they are above me

This is so boring.

I show 238 backlinks on Google for your site.

I know that about six weeks ago I had a 301 redirect and once Google picked it up my backlinks went to 0. I have corrected the matter but that was a long six weeks.

Roger, Sometimes it seems it takes forever for those links to kick in and the ride can get quite bumpy in the interim. I'd encourage you to keep seeking those relevant anchored links. Although there can be some exceptions it'll definitely pay off in the long run.

It's like a marathon rollercoaster; even like an IVAN, at times! Go with it -- be >natural< in all you do to promote your site. Patience is key.
