Google Not Indexing Website

I have a dilemma here and I'm hoping you can all input some great information for me.

I acquired my domain homeloanscarloans.com in April of this year, and finished my website in June. From what I can tell, someone else had the domain before me and the last time it was indexed looks like in February.

I've been told by a couple different people that the domain is not banned. But can't understand then why it is not being indexed.

I have sent an email to google and was told that my email was forwarded to their engineering team anid it has been a couple of weeks now, and still have not heard back from anyone.

I guess i'm just letting off steam, does anyone here have any ideas as to maybe why the domain is not being indexed?

Cindy, I replied to your intro post with an article on backlinks and anchor text, you must get topic specific backlinsk from other websites if you want to get indexed.

You should approach other loans and credit score related sites and request a link exchange, your link text should be something like
<a href="http://www.homeloanscarloans.com">Home Loans</a>
As for your credit score page, you could exchange links at http://www.a1credit.com/resources.php and of course post at http://www.seo-guy.com/forum/relevan...nge-forum.html but make sure you read the rules first

I have backlinks they are up to over 500 now, which I have just got in the last 2 weeks, most all of them are directories related and not related to loans but the categories I submitted to are and my site is a loan directory also so I think I'm doing good on the back llinks. , I'm in best of the web, exact seek, the knowledge network, blog search engine, turnpike.net, jayde, americas best, hoppa, superpages and others and some loan and real estate directories like mine.
So do you think that may have been the problem?
Although I had about 12 good links after I finished the website and did not get indexed.

I can find 4 backlinks........you might check that they are not redirects

This is a continuation of my thread above.

I forgot to mention that I am indexed in Yahoo and they last updated my pages back in July and I'm on the second page right now for home loans car loans. In the last month I have done updates to the site and added all the backlinks in the last two weeks, so I'm waiting for Yahoo to do their next big update.

I know from what everyone says is that Google will penalize you for getting too many backlinks at once. As I mentioned earlier I have over 500 right now. Should I still keep getting backlinks and when should I stop?

Hi Jenny, I'm still learning webmaster stuff. But I checked my link popularity using this tool and I don;'t know if they are considered redirects or what.

Might want to get listed in dmoz, too. I've had good success getting my dmoz listings picked up by Google. Just a little tidbit.
