O.K., I was going to blast an e-mail I got from www . pickyourrealtor . com and then went to their site and ended up buying 600 bucks worth of pixels.

Mary Newill already knows about that site and will be shutting it down soon. You may not use the word realtor in your domain unless it complies with the rules set forth by N.A.R.

I read about this site in another forum, and the poster said he reported them to Mary Newill.

Sorry bro, but you should know better than to link to, buy links from or have any association with a site that violates N.A.R.'s trademark. Looks like you're out $600. AND, I have to agree with Morgan... I need to build on e of these sites. I had no idea anyone really still bought into those things.

You are right, thats why I went scrambling to make sure all of my "®"'s were in place so that those that should have known better than to link with me don't get told they should have known better. Still have a few to put in place. How about the rest of you guys with the Realtor® terms on your site and don't forget your franchise ®.

I know that companies must vigorously defend their trademarks or loose their value ( how about Spam® ), but I hope you were not implying that I was some idiot for buying pixels. I found the whole million dollar home page intriguing and know that many hits were derived from pixels on that page. I spend zero dollars on PPC and zero dollars on farming mail outs. I was willing to spend what I did simply out of curiosity. I have had more than 60 hits from the pixels since yesterday. Will they turn into anything? I don't know. But it won't take but one sale on the lake to pay for it 35 times over. If the name of the site and URL has to be changed, the math is still the same.

Forgive me in advance for defending myself as not being some kind of fool.
