    Default Keyword Difficulty in SERPs

Interesting article, references two SEO tools.

    From the author.......

In the past, everytime I start a new website, I use keyword suggestion tools to give me a rough idea of the keyword popularity on the Internet. Results from these tools typically tells you how many times that keyword was searched in Yahoo and the corresponding keyword varieties. This is a great start as you would want to ensure that there are ready visitors to your new site (provided search engines are referring visitors to your site).

thats a pretty cool tool. I wonder what they use to evaluate it and then turn it into a number between 1 and 100...

I made my own tool by dividing by the number of search overture claims in their keyword tool by the number of available websites for a keyword in Google's count. The lower the more feasiable... Dont know if it really works, but it seems to provide some insight for the keyword or content to go after...

This seems to be a very nice tool to keep track of the competition with. It might be on here some where already, but I have not ran across it yet. Type in your key word(s) and get a listing break down of your competition, the # ofpages they have, etc, etc..
