According to overture's search tool http://inventory.overture.com/d/sear...ry/suggestion/ the kw term San Diego Real Estate had 60147 clicks last month. 95% of that were spread out amoung the 4 sponsored searches that yahoo has on top of their Yahoo real estate add, the 10 "natural searches" and the other 8 sponsored searches to the right.

Maybe you can explain why they have the product if they don't think they can make money on it.
If you are looking for San Diego Real Estate or you want to view San Diego MLS listings (or at least that portion of the data feed that SANDICOR allows us to display on our websites) go to a local San Diego County real estate Agent's Site.

They do make maney of it. I'm sure it works fine for those sites that they sell a product and they need their URLs to refresh more often than usual. They also make money simply because most of us who buy into it don't unterstand exactly how it works. You can't blame Y! for that though as they clearly explain the benefits of this service:

    - Guaranteed inclusion in Yahoo! Search index.
    - Frequent refresh-every 48 hours.
    - Reporting to track and optimize performance.
    - Ranking based on relevance.
