Default Opinons or Experience with AgentX sites?

Was curious to find out if anyone here has experience with alamode's AgentX real estate websites. While their sites may not be optimally structed for SEO, they do seem to offer a good balance between front end flexibility and a fairly robust backend including lead capture, DRIP marketing, self-managed customization, attractive and transparent pricing, etc.

Any candid feedback regarding these sites would be helpful since I am considering this technology for a 2nd website. Thanks.

lead capture, DRIP marketing, self-managed customization, attractive and transparent pricing, etc.
None of that matters without leads. Go for the optimal SEO structure, get the hits, and then use supplemental products to capture (IDX with contact capture), drips (Top Producer maybe).

With no traffic the other bells and whistles will be useless.

I agree with most of your comments however SEO isn't really the primary goal since I don't rely 100% on web traffic to generate and grow business.

The primary goal is to have a good, usable website with a solid front and backend that is integrated. Late yesterday I googled AgentX sites and discovered that they seem to have fairly good positioning within the SEs IF the individual pages/content were updated with custom or quasi-custom content and didn't just use the cookie cutter content (e.g. page content, keywords, descriptions) that the company provides.

While I don't want to serve as an infomercial for these sites (especially since I don't have one yet), they do seem to have quite a bit to offer, especially when you consider the $399/price for a highly customizable front end and backend "integrated" solution.

    Thoughts? Additional insights?

Yes, I would recommend the free one at point2agent. Has backoffice, displays listings nicely, does automatic drips triggered by forms being filled out, etc.

They had some issues with seo starting back in September, but we have recently recovered from that.

PM me your e-mail address and I will send you an invitation for a free site. If you want to pay for a site, then go with a REW site.

From an SEO perspective, members are right, agent X sites are not very good at all, we had an agent X site that we optimized and it only performed marginally, we redid the site as a custom and it has been first page ever sinse. I agree SEO is not everything, but it cannot be overlooked.

From a presentation perspective, that is something that is left to you and you alone. If you feel that you can represent yourself well with an agent X site and that it has the elements you want to be able to put forth, then by all means give it further consideration.

Tools and lead follow up are also very important (Although as mentioned without traffic, kind of a moot point) - I would compare their solutions to others out there, and once again, if the site has what you need, just another checkmark beside the "probably a good candidate" box.

Price - in terms of price, I think this is one of the biggest mistakes agents ever make. A website has the potential to make you hundreds of thousands in extra commissions, in comparison a few hundred (Or even a few thousand) dollars does not seem all that prohibitive. If site A costs $500 and makes me $10,000 and site B costs $10,000 but makes me $100,000 I will take site B in a heart beat.

If you are focusing your marketing effort (Now and for the future) on things other than SEO traffic (Radio, print, PPC etc) - then I would say that X sites will likely serve your purposes. If you are planning on expending a lot of time (or $) on SEO efforts, I would seriously look at other solutions.
