Their is a very big black box aspect to the REO field. The secret is to sign up with all the big companies and do excellent work. I talk about it on my website http://www.bpos4reos.com/

Hi jamesegallagher,
If you are making so much money listing and selling REO properties for big banks, why are you selling a book that will create you "serious" competition?
Lana Cole,

I wrote the book initially as a way to promote myself to the asset managers. By writing a book you are the perceived expert on the subject. By being the perceived expert on the subject I will get even more REO Listings.
As for creating serious competition I'm not worried about that. That attitude comes from an attitude of scarcity. I work from an attitude of abundance.
This mindset is one of the most important topics I cover in my book.
I've heard reotrans is the place to register..its not free

Thanks for your kind response, jamesegallagher!
I have one more question though. I bought different books on REO and I paid to join teaching individuals on that as well.
But I found it ALL useless.
As soon as I pay the info they have to share is totally useless.
Would you mind to send me one of your books FREE, so I will get myself more familiar with your work, strategy and set of mind.
And on my part I promise if your book is good indeed and it will help me to get at least one REO property listed, I will pay you double what the price of the book is. And I will post about you and your book on my website and other Real Estate blogs I participate in.
Deal????????
Lana,
Lana,
The only people that get the book for free are asset managers. I send them review copies.
The reason I wrote my book was because I realized that just a list of BPO and REO companies is useless unless you know what to do.
My book along with my easy 3 step system takes you through the entire process from sign up with the companies to closed escrows.
I've bought many of the other systems out there and I agree that most of them are usless.

That's what I thought!

Can I have the book for free too?
Just kidding, however I totally agree about attitude. Abundance is key. Kind of like the whole accumilation effect.
I have a list of companies that assign BPO's and REO's. I'm a realtor that got into foreclosures 2 years ago... but I'm currently restricted to doing BPO's do to an overseas tour. I'm willing to give up the information I have free of charge in exchange for helping me get the word out about my BPO service. Please visit http://www.thelist.domybpo.com/ if you're interest.
Thanks,
