Tyler,
I love that blog! It is soooo funny. My favorite one is this one:
http://overvalued.blogspot.com/2006/...ons.html#links
And one of his most recent additions, "Who Wants a Sea View," is so funny to read.
And I would actually buy this one:

It's me!
I was up catching up on his latest additions (it's been a while since I've been to that blog) into the wee hours of last night, holding my eyelids open until I got to where I left off sometime in March - LOL!

Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.
Ha! Nice Tyler...
Your friendly neighbourhood IDX Coordinator,

Well, I found another good blog. This one is even funnier then the last.

Are people actually buying these places? If so, they should lend me some money.
Those are unbelievable!
I dont think anyone in thier right mind would pay that much for those properties. But I dont know how much property from those area's is worth, but i'm sure its not THAT much!
No link exchange for you!
Thats not even the best part.Originally Posted by tom
Apparently there is 1,677 Realtors in Marin selling houses. From stats I found on another similar Marin blog lists the rest.
Stats from : http://marinrealestatebubble.blogspot.com/According to the U.S. Census Bureau data, in 2005 Marin's total population was about 246,960 people. The U.S. Census Bureau says that in the year 2000 20.3% of the county's total population was 18 years of age or younger. So assuming that percentage was the same in 2005 as it was in 2000, that puts Marin's total adult population in 2005 at roughly 196,827 bodies (and one arm in change).
That means in 2005 there was about one realtor per 117 adults in Marin.

Yet another blog.
This one has more pictures![]()
Unfortuneatly over the past month is seems some angry realtors have taken down some of the blogs that are skeptical of the industry.

Don't believe everything you read Tyler. Spammers targeted some sites that had traffic and hacked in to replace the content with their spam. You would think an agent would spell "Comnercial" correctly (see over valued blog). This is a common tactic for spammers and it just happens that it gives idoits like that blogger something to write about that will cause some readership.Originally Posted by REW Tyler
