    Default Bad Days

Anyone else just having one of those crappy days? Lets see what is going on with me. Had double side 350000 dollar house fall out today, a friend of mine listed with someone else because he forgot about me (my fault) Put an offer in on a house and the agent couldnt get ahold of the seller for 2 days. In the mean time she gets another offer which is a little better. Instead of going to a multiple offer situation they send out the exact same 2 counter offers, and I didnt recieve mine by fax until much later. So they get theres in first. So we get screwed out of that deal because of ignorate realtors. Anyways bad day im just venting feel free to do the same.

I can't find the remote control for my television. Does that count?

The best thing about bad days - you can look forward to a much better tomorrow.

Keep your head up bro - I find (Although sometimes hard) keeping a positive attitude makes a lot of these speedbumps smooth out and pale in comparison to the positives. We all have these days, but always know your friends are here to support you.

And... sympathize. I had a vps server go down today for the first time in at least a couple of years. The bitch was that there was no estimate on getting things back up.

It was only three hours, but they have to have been the longest three hours in recent memory!

I just had one of my highest priced listings cancel out on me after I had it listed during the "high end of the price range." They purchased a new construction townhouse & are running out of time to sell so now they're motivated. So I'm losing them right when they're ready to reduce price and it would have sold whether I still had the listing or the new agent has it. They insisted that the new agent is in their town, yada, yada, yada. I did say their home will sell when it's priced correctly no matter who has the listing.

This was a unique, custom home on a beautiful big lot in a prestigious area. It was difficult to price although I told them pretty quickly that feedback suggested it should be priced in the $700,000's & we had it in the $800,000's. I finally got them to reduce to $799,000 & now they're listing with a new agent at $779,000.

So all my work was done while they were still speculating. Now the new agent gets them when they're really ready to sell. The drawback on this house (& part of the problem of selling it since it's beautiful) is that it's on a busy street, even though it's set back on a gorgeous wooded lot.

So I guess it is one of those bad days - you're not alone! BTW, for anyone wondering, I would never keep sellers listed with me if they want out. This is the first time in all the years I've been in real estate that I've let someone out early! However, this was also a 12 month listing that was expiring in June.

You know what's funny? When I read this post I thought, no, I'm not having a bad day - until I thought about this listing! I guess after all the years I've been doing this it's similar to having a listing expire & then having another agent pick it up & getting it reduced & sold. Although that hasn't happened to me too many times, in 23 years it has happened. So I take this stuff as one of the hazards of the biz.
Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

I still can't find my remote. I should go to Starbucks and see if it is there. (I'm actually supposed to be writing right now).

    Drugs.

Nah...I see it, too. Flashy, flashy. Besides, it is a pretty sucky article.

I found my remote. It was stuck beside the cushion on a patio chair outside. How it got out there I cannot imagine.

Dont mean to hijack...but the remote thing made me want to ping in.

Im in the same boat! I have a remote for my CD player in my car and I leave that in the weirdest places..peoples houses, restaraunts, my own house. Its like I unconsciously carry it around and leave it in random places. Same goes for the remote for the TV, I left that at a buddies house last weekend..couldnt find it for days!

Anyway, thats it...I dont really have anything worth complaining about - but I do hope your days get better!

The site looks fine to me...
