Default Position Drop for One Search Term

Hello...I am fairly new to this and I have been working hard on my site and my link exchanges. I have had the site up since January and I have had pretty good success lately on MSN with several of my search terms showing up on page 1. However, the biggest term "Wilmington NC Real Etate" which has been consistently in position #3 on page one for the past few weeks suddenly dropped out of the top 20 pages yesterday. The rest of my targeted search terms have stayed pretty much the same as they were and are still on page one of their searches. Is this type of drop normal? Is there something that I might have done to cause this? Any advice will be appreciated.

Yes you will bounce around as a new site. Even sites that have been around for years don't just stay in one place in the rankings, they just don't move as often.

Thanks...I have seen some movement over the past few weeks, but just not anything as dramatic as this one.
