Zionsville and Carmel Homes for Sale...Ask Jeeves

I recently put a website and have been cached by every major search engine except Ask, and Lycos. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get listed? I can tell ask has crawled my site but they haven't cached it.

Thanks for the reply, I think I know why I'm not registering. For some reason DMOZ has not added me to their directory yet. Although I'm doing very well with other search engines that draw off of www.dmoz.org I don't get it! It's not slowing my traffic or conversion!

dmoz can take a long time to get registered in, if they register you at all. Depends on your area and if there is even an editor available. They are extremely picky & if your site does not follow their rules it won't get listed.

It is also thought that dmoz is not the end all directory that it used to be. I have a lot of top positions in Google, Yahoo & MSN without being in dmoz. I really don't care about the other search engines - I don't even check them.

If you think about it, what search engines do you think your friends use? The first 2 or three that come to mind should be the ones you should try to place well in. Once your atop those then you can move to 'lesser' engines.
