Default Rookie question, what software do you use to make CMA?

    Hi,

I've been helping my Mom to do her first CMA presentation, and while I see a lot of examples and MLS has somewhat capability of doing I feel like there should be some software that will make it easier. By easier I mean easier layout and arranging the elements. So my first question what do you guys use?

While I wrote that I figured out I have another question: Once you've done with that CMA thing what do you do with it? Do you send it the seller before listing presentation? Do you just bring with you on listing presentation?

    Thanks to everybody!

Roman, go to this site. http://www.telluridesoftware.com/ You can download a free CMA program.*

I used to use a program called Altaira... it's now called First Search. One of our MLS's offers it (for a fee, of course).

Personally, I would never send a full blown CMA to any prospective seller. Upon request, I will send a cursory CMA... but a complete one is to be presented in my opinion.

There are agents that leave the CMA for the last part of a listing presentation... the part AFTER the seller agrees to enlist the services of said agent. Not my style... but I understand the concept. Oddly enough... the CMA is the part the seller wants to talk about first.
