    Default Best type of lead

    Hello,

My lead volume has been spiking lately and I'm noticing I'm getting a lot of genuine email addresses being entered now. The only problem is when I email them I never get an answer back.

Are the real leads the ones you have an opportunity to talk on the phone with? Or that email you first?

Or is it just a numbers game that I will have to be getting 10 leads a day before I start getting some true prospects?

The best type of lead is one that you can contact. They have already initiated the exchange by filling out a form in the first place, but if they dont answer thier phone or reply to your emails, then they arent that hot in the first place OR there is something wrong with your follow up.

I am not sure if you have tried this yet, but try monitoring your leads so that you can contact them within a half hour of them filling out their lead form. Even sooner if possible, they may even still be on your site.

I noticed you just filled out one of our forms and I just wanted to let you know that if you need any assistance at all using our website, or would like some realtor advice right now, I am here for you. If you are just browsing, great I hope you find everyhing you need (Dont forget about this and that this that "things that are great on your site" and I will email you my contact details so that even if you dont have questions now, you will know that I am here whenever you need assistance free of charge")

I send every form submission or IDX registrant an email and call if I have time. Calling typically gives you better results but I am not always in front of my computer and even if I get the information on my cell phone I can't always make the call. I suggest calling them on the phone. What do you have to lose?

I call every number that's been entered by a registrant. However most of the time the numbers are disconnected/fake numbers as well as the email address. Do you have any issues with fake info? What percentage of your leads have entered accurate info by your estimation?

Quite a few are bogus. Lately, I have only been calling the people who answered "phone" to "how do you want to be contacted". I am not saying this is the best route. It is probably better to take that question out and just call everyone.

It is frustrating to get a lead and not be able to contact them. We have found it helpful to require two phone numbers and an email to circumvent trash leads. This seems to help, though not resolve the problem.

In the event you don't get a quick response, therein is your answer. If they don't call you back, that means they weren't a hot lead. They probably aren't ready to move yet.... Then again, maybe it means you need to be persistent by setting the lead up on an email drip campaign. Our LEAD ENGINE allows you to send automatic email campaigns to your leads.
