    Default Fishing

Anyone else go fishing today? I caught a boatload but only brought back four. It was just absolutely beautiful here today, Tampa Bay, even if the fish box was empty it would have been good fun just being out there.

    Your making me drool!!!

Had my boat out for the first time since before Thanksgiving on Thursday. Can you believe it?

Between Business, the holidays, cold weather, replacing my trim engine and being in the hospital for over 30 days, I just haven't had a chance to go.

Am going up Pine Island way tommorow, but am just hoping to spend a few hours and get some more sun. But by next week, look out. Ten Thousand Islands here I come. The fish better look out, cause I'm so deprived I might just jump in and get after them without a pole.

Remember, fishing is not a matter of life and death, its much more important than that.

Yea, it's great when you're catching em' and good when you aint. We're just into the fish box here these days though. We had a massive red tide last year, the worst in history... killed everything close, some are making a comeback so we've been trying to catch up.

That's awesome, we don't really get that out here. Only problem we get up here is the American commercial fishing boats catching them all. In BC there's very strict limits about the amount of salmon sports fishers and commercial fishers can catch, however, and it may have changed, the US has no such limits and each year we notice how many less fish come by.

We have the same problem here, American commercial fisherman. That, the regulations, and the fact that most don't seem to value the resource.

I think it relates to surfing if you wanna exchange links.

Took my 15 year old daughter out, caught a bunch... ate and froze a few.

I'd like to go fishing, but not too many good places to go around here that aren't stocked. The river is'nt the best place either, I dont think i'd want to get eaten by a 10' cat - trust me, they exist! If I can find a picture i'll scan and post it. Reminds me of when someone brought back a shark and stuck it in one of the local lakes. Man o' man was that crazy.

I like Terry's cool new title!
