WP blog that allow comments from viewers

I'm looking for a blog that allow comments from visitors. Are there themes available with that already built in?

Any populat blog platform allows comments. Blogger has a lot of templates, but since it is free it is pretty hard to customize it.

Yeah, kind of a wierd question... WordPress allows comments from visitors. You can upload themes. There are tons of great ones and webmasters continue to update and make new ones.

I just started a blog about a month ago... If you could specify what you are looking for, I'd be glad to help.

the best example would be blogmaverick.com.. if i write about my local area, i would like visitors to be able to post their opinions too.. do i just plug the code into the wordpress blog? never done a blog before and i'm pretty new to this.

If you use Wordpress there is no code to plug in. The blog templates come with the comments feature built in. I had taken my Oak Lawn blog and turned it into a regular website in the beginning so I actually got rid of the built-in code for the comments. When I get a chance I have to find it again as I turned the site back into a blog and would like to allow comments.

So you download the template and it's all there. There are add-ons (plug-ins) available for other features but comments are a basic part of any blog template I've ever seen.

Maverickblog has nice layout by the way. He using BlogSmith which is still private bloggin platform used on blogs by WeblogsInc owned by Jason Calacanis. It has a features of star ratings to comments, most commented, and it is not using Ajax technology.

You can't get it all in WP, but you can get regular comments. Are you planning to use blog on your website, or you are using wp free pages? If you need some more features than standart comments you can try searching on google with terms "widget comments for WordPress"
