Real estate blogging engine just launched

Over at the ActiveRain Real Estate Network we just launched the phase 1 of our real estate blogging engine, integrated in with the real estate profiles on our site. While not as full featured as other blogging packages we've gone for the ease of use approach, there is no setup, once you add your profile to a network you have a blog. We're currently working on getting the feeds going out to most off to all the "blog search sites" such as google-blogs and will building lots of ways to highlight the bloggers on our site.

So if you don't have a blog and would like one just join the network, it's free...

We decided to try something interesting to get some good blog posts going within the blogs. A lot of time people want to have a blog but just don't know what to write. So, each week we're going to post a blog topic "Blog Topic" on the ActiveRain blog. We're going to try to choose topics that are currently getting a lot of debate at the national level and see if the members of our site can blog about it from a regional perspective.

We'll then highlight all the best posts on that topic at the end of the week. Should be interesting to see what happens.

So far the Active Rain system has been working well for me, and the customer support has been absolutely terrific! I've submitted a few items, and always got an instant response.
