For those who haven't already read about Yahoo's new RSS/Atom directory and how RSS feeds can help boost your traffic here is a link to the recent SiteProNews newsletter.

Ok, let me put this another way. XML/RSS feeds are one way links to your site!

If you're not familiar with XML/RSS feeds you might spend a few minutes with Google on the subject. When all is said and done you'll probably agree that it was a few minutes well spent.

Once you build your feed you'll probably want to icons. Here is a thread for that.

For displaying feeds I'm currently using the script found in this thread. If anyone has found anything better please let me know.

I'm looking into it now. Never understood what an RSS feed was. Thanks Jeffery.

I just threw together a basic page to give an example. You can include the RSS feed into whatever page you decide.

The idea is to offer content that others want to put on their site. When they publish your feed on their site they're also publishing your links.

Remember to Validate your RSS Feeds. You can find information on how to do that in this thread.

That a boy Jeffrey, I'd been disapointed in you, if you didn't throw in something about validating ! Thanks for posting this info. This is the first time that I have seen it and I will be looking into it. I know nothing about this and blogging etc.
