    Default MSN and Advanced Access

Has anyone noticed how well the Advanced Access sites are doing in MSN? 6 out of 10 sites for Sarasota Real Estate are AA sites. I checked a couple of other cities as well and the results are similar.

I'm thinking of abandoning my REW site and my good position in Google to move to an AA site so I can have a good position in MSN.

Sounds like a strategy.... I'm building template sites that absolutely kick but in Alta Vista and Lycos so you may want to hold off for a bit before jumping ship.

Well, in my area my REW site kicks butt in MSN, so there's no reason to jump ship to AA yet.
Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

Seriously though - I have a very disturbing letter from an AA client about their new practices, I have been meaning to post it. Basically they brought in Greg Boser to consult about the yahoo problem and guess what he told them! Remove your links pages! This means any AA site that is currently a link parnter (With the exception of some very savvy AA clients who control thier own linking) will be removing their link to you, - I am currently working on a strategy to weed out these AA sites and remove them from all REW sites. I dont have a bullet proof one yet, because I dont want to delete those AA links that are outside this BS

Now don't get me wrong, AA really needed to change the way they exchanged links, their pages were 100% the same and didnt even look like the rest of the site. However as we all know "proper" reciprocal linking is an integral part of your Google strategy, thus the advice should have been to "fix" the way they exchange links and link to each other, not just mass delete all links pages on all AA sites.

Morgan, you need to check out this thread (your opinion was actually requested):

    Morgan,

I have not seen that recommendation from WG. Of course that does not mean he didn't make it because a lot of things have been said both in public and in private.

AA's forum is in real turmoil right now because of conflicting advice on what they should do. My recommendation was do nothing as it pertains to Yahoo! at the risk of Google. Their state pages do need to be cleaned up and Ken Smith's pages could be used as an example.

BTW, are you going to be at SES next month?

Am i correct to assume if we are in link-building, this will be done for us, or should we go thru and check if links have been removed?
