Booleans are added automatically to replace blank spaces if you URL Encode them according to W3C standards. More importantly, there isn't a single good reason in the world to use booleans in the URLs of pages that you intend to promote to the SEs anyway. They just make your internal page URLs incomprehensibly long -- like a wad of GET variables do.
