Trademark Issues with Google

I received a notice today from G that we are not permitted to use our company's trademark in our advertising.

G has gone completely bonkers now!

As a C21 agent, we pay a fee to use the trademark and name in all our advertising. It's one of the benefits of being a company agent.

Anyone else receive a notice of this sort?

I got the same message and desided to not fight it. I did notice they would allow for an exsemption. Didn't seem to be worth it.

Are you saying you can't use the Century 21 logo?

I was puting together Ads and the system just gave me the error msg about trade mark for Century21. I didnt feel like going forward so I don't use Century21 in any of my ads

I started using adwords about 2 weeks ago to see what would happen. So Far the results has been poor. Just Like the news paper. Alot of cost and time and very little action

I know we got a letter from Century21 corporate one time for not using the name properly on our site but I think it's odd to see Google policing this.

Yes, the adwords are not permitting the term Century 21 and I am fighting it!

They are out of their mind if they think I won't be using the Century 21 name! I pay a fortune of money to be able to use the name.

In the meantime, anyone else having this problem may want to use C21.

The-Yank, my advise is don't give up on adwords. It's work quite well for us.

I would fight it also. It's the whole point of being Century21. I would also advise you to call Broker Services and ask them to have the IT Department contact Google also.
