    Default Link Update?

I am showing more links in Google. Has anyone else noticed a difference in their backlinks?

Backlinks that are shown by G don't really mean to much as G doesn't show all of them anyways. Not something that you should worry to much about IMO.

Just an observation. I'm not really worrying about it.

Our IT people have not noticed a backlink update in progress. Our site is relatively new so no backlinks are showing up yet. I was informed that on Googles test server that our site has 36,400 pages indexed. We just launched the site Dec 3rd so we have been told not to expect BLs to be showing until the next update.

On a side note we were told that there is a new algorithm Google is coming out with that is suppose to be the mother of all algo's, this according to interviews with Eric cant remember his lastname from Google. After reviewing the data from the test datacenter for Google it looks promising for large sites.

Has anyone else here heard whether or not one of the new filters that Google is going to add to their algorithm is not going to give any weight to recipical linking?

Nicely presented site. It's amazing that you have over 36,000+ pages indexed already. From what little I have heard about the new alogos many SEOs and webmastes may be unpleasantly surprised when its rolled out. I don't believe Google has reciprocal linking in its sights when done correctly. I go along with Matt Cutts' remarks (paraphrased) that it probably will not hurt your site but it sure ain't going to help it.

I look forward to exchanging information with you.

We agree with that as well. According to Mr Cutts and others that have posted in WMW this new algo is going to be the MOTHER of all algo's. It has been speculated that Google is attempting with this New Algo to target purchased links, link sellers, link farms, canonicals and may reduce the postive factors given to the age of websites. From our understanding this algo was and the math used for it was created by Sergy.

Mr Cutts has warned webmasters not to think that Google doesnt have the ability to detect all these issues a lot of face with links. Since we have been here in Vegas, we have noticed that the top site here is participating in a very large link farm with over 150 links on their homepage.

We personally feel and we are not always right but that when this new algo is released it is going to shake up the internet like no other algo has ever.

Thank You For The Compliment on Our Site Frobn

MyGoRealty it's AMAZING how your email forms at the bottom of all your pages are EXACT replicas of ours.
I do apologize if you preceive our forms to be replicas of yours. I took a look at your form and it would seem to me those are standard questions you would ask a potential consumer. The chronological order is also standard.

Did you create this site yourself or did you hire an SEO firm to do so?

As for who created it we have a staff of IT employees, programmers and writers. Our company is comprised of several DBAs and one happens to be a online marketing company.

Within the past couple of weeks we are noticing text that we have written popping up on quite a few new Las Vegas real estate websites.
I would hope that you are not suggesting that we in anyway copied your content. We have staff several writers to write all this content and to make sure that none of this has been copied we have verified all this through not only copyscape but also through other tools that we have created to not only protect our copyrighted material but to also safeguard against anyone we hire from using someone else material.

To combat this and protect ourselves we submitted all of the text on our site to the United States copyright office. We have also hired a law firm to aggresively deal with pirates who steal content or text from our site.
I would applaud you for doing so. In todays business enviroment you must take all necessary precautions to safeguard your business. We take our business models and material as serious as it seems you do and have taken the same precautions of keeping a IP/Trademark/Copyright attorney on retainer.

If you have specific concerns please post them and we will respond to them to hopefully set your mind at ease.
