Definitions of ALT-A Loans

  • Loan products aimed at borrowers whose credit and/or other issues make them less likely to qualify for a prime mortgage loan program. Interest rates for these types of loans are slightly higher than prime loans. This definition of ALT-A Loans contributed by gulf-coast-associates.
