Definitions of Real Estate

• Land and everything attached to or appurtenant to it.
• Property or land, and every improvement or fixture on the land.
• Broad term used to describe real property, be it land, a house, a condo, a town-home, or even a office building, factory. This definition of Real Estate contributed by James Boyer.
• Land and the property permanently attached to it, such as buildings, houses, stationary mobile homes, fences and trees. In legalese, real estate is also called real property.
